How to use the Weekly review template

  1. Start a board from it

Use this template opens a new Freero board with the Weekly review template on it (sign up free first). On a board you already have, open Templates in the toolbar and search for “Weekly review”.

  2. Follow the instruction on the board

“Look back before you plan ahead. Be honest in rows 1–4; row 5 only works if the earlier answers are real.”

  3. Fill in each part

    • What did I actually finish this week? Finished, not started. Small things count.
    • What slipped, and why? Name the real reason: too big, unclear, or not mine to do.
    • What gave me energy, and what drained it? People, tasks, places, times of day.
    • What did I learn or notice?
    • What are my three priorities for next week? If only these happen, the week was good.
    • What will I let go of? Drop it, delegate it or park it on purpose.
  4. Bring your team and your agents

Invite people to the board or share a link, and work on it together live. The timer is in the top bar, private mode and voting in the board menu, and Claude or ChatGPT can join through Freero’s MCP server.

Work on it with an AI agent

Connect an assistant once and it works on the board with you, with your permissions: by default it reads and proposes, and people decide.

  1. You ask: “Fill in the Weekly review board from these notes.”

What happens It reads the board, then proposes sticky notes for it. Nothing changes until someone on the board accepts them.

  2. You ask: “Group what we wrote into themes and list the actions.”

What happens It proposes clusters with a title each and task cards for the actions, labelled with its name and yours.
