How to use the Renewal plan template

Start a board from it
Use this template opens a new Freero board with the Renewal plan template on it (sign up free first). On a board you already have, open Templates in the toolbar and search for “Renewal plan”.
Follow the instruction on the board
“Start 90 days out. Show value in the customer’s numbers, fix open issues before talking price, and only then raise expansion.”
Fill in each part
- Check health 90 days out
- Show value 75 days out
- Fix issues 60 days out
- Propose 45 days out
- Sign 15 days out
Bring your team and your agents
Invite people to the board or share a link, and work on it together live. The timer is in the top bar, private mode and voting in the board menu, and Claude or ChatGPT can join through Freero’s MCP server.

Work on it with an AI agent

Connect an assistant once and it works on the board with you, with your permissions: by default it reads and proposes, and people decide.

You ask: “Fill in the Renewal plan board from these notes.”
What happens It reads the board, then proposes sticky notes for it. Nothing changes until someone on the board accepts them.
You ask: “Group what we wrote into themes and list the actions.”
What happens It proposes clusters with a title each and task cards for the actions, labelled with its name and yours.

Map the messages a customer gets at each stage, from sign-up to renewal: the goal, the message and the channel.
Churn risk review
Go through accounts that might leave: the warning signs, why you think they’re at risk, and the save plan with an owner.
Customer health score
Define how you score account health: the signals, their weights, the thresholds and what the team does at each level.
Account adoption plan
See which teams in a customer use which parts of the product, find the gaps and plan how to get more of them using it well.
