Automation

Your own OAuth app

Register an app that people connect to their Freero account on a consent screen.

Via the API

What it does

Register an OAuth 2.1 app (authorization code with PKCE, public or with a secret) with its redirect addresses. People who connect it see its name and what it may do on Freero’s consent screen, and can revoke it at any time. Built something people can use? Submit it as a community listing.

Connect Your own OAuth app

  1. Step 1

Register the app in Settings → Your OAuth apps, with its redirect addresses.

  2. Step 2

Send people through /oauth/authorize; exchange the code at /api/oauth/token.

In Freero, Apps & agents → Your own OAuth app takes you straight to this step.

More automation

  • REST API

Read boards and add to them from scripts and services, with a token or an OAuth app.

Signed events about a team’s boards, sent to your endpoint as they happen.

  • Meeting notes import

Notes or a transcript from your meeting tool become a frame: decisions, action-item cards and notes.

  • n8n

Two importable n8n workflows: new GitHub issue → card, and board comment → Slack.

  • Make

A step-by-step Make scenario on Freero’s REST API and signed webhooks.

  • Zapier

Zaps that react to Freero webhooks and add items through the REST API.

  • Power Automate

A custom connector for Power Automate and Logic Apps, generated from Freero’s API description.
