Automation
n8n
Two importable n8n workflows: new GitHub issue → card, and board comment → Slack.
Via the API
What it does
Import a workflow into n8n, add a Freero token and, for webhooks, the signing secret. One workflow turns new GitHub issues into cards on a board; the other checks the webhook signature and forwards board comments to Slack.
This is a recipe on Freero’s public REST API and webhooks, not an app listed in n8n’s own directory.
Connect n8n
Step 1
Create a Freero token under Connect an agent → Any HTTP client.
Step 2
Import a workflow JSON from the recipe into n8n and fill in the credentials.
In Freero, Apps & agents → n8n takes you straight to this step.
More automation
REST API
Read boards and add to them from scripts and services, with a token or an OAuth app.
Your own OAuth app
Register an app that people connect to their Freero account on a consent screen.
Webhooks
Signed events about a team’s boards, sent to your endpoint as they happen.
Meeting notes import
Notes or a transcript from your meeting tool become a frame: decisions, action-item cards and notes.
Make
A step-by-step Make scenario on Freero’s REST API and signed webhooks.
Zapier
Zaps that react to Freero webhooks and add items through the REST API.
Power Automate
A custom connector for Power Automate and Logic Apps, generated from Freero’s API description.
