Codex

Codex (CLI, IDE extension and desktop) adds Freero as a remote MCP server in config.toml.

Connect in settings

What it does

Add Freero to ~/.codex/config.toml with your server’s MCP URL, then sign in with codex mcp login freero.

Connect Codex

  1. Step 1

Add the [mcp_servers.freero] entry from the Connect page to ~/.codex/config.toml.

  2. Step 2

Run codex mcp login freero and approve it on Freero’s consent screen.

In Freero, Apps & agents → Codex takes you straight to this step.
